As I sit here at my desk, steaming cup of coffee in hand, and dig through the many photos we’ve captured in the last year, it hits me. 2014 was most definitely a year of celebration for our team. Whether we were frying up some eggs in the morning before our Wednesday team meetings, honoring each other through annual birthday lunches, or gathering as families under little twinkle lights on summer evenings, we always made reason for a party.

Not all of these celebrations went “picture perfectly.” In fact, our first major attempt to celebrate ended up in a mixture of soggy brown paper and quinoa salad, but I believe imperfection is what adds character to memories.

 We’ve laughed a lot, you’ll see in the photos that most of my time is spent laughing here in our studio. Some might say I’m easy to entertain, but I would say I just work with really funny people. I can hardly believe that it’s been almost a year since I joined the team here at JHP. We’ve gone through so many seasons in just one year, yet our hearts for each other and for teamwork have not changed. The thing I love the most about these people I work with and the place I come to every day is that it just feels like home.

Our desire is to give you a behind-the-scenes look at studio life, from the perspectives of both our cameras and our iPhones. I hope you have as much fun looking through these photos as we did!
