When I first talk to Kirsty and Jeff about their wedding they told me they wanted their wedding to be inspired by the Great Gatsby era. I immediately perked up because I LOVED the Great Gatsby and I loved the styling from that Era. After we chatted some more I found out some amazing details about their wedding. It was going to be held at the Carinwood Estate near Philadelphia, which is the perfect backdrop for an elegant vintage wedding.

Since the wedding was in early December the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. decided to do a first look so they could take advantage of the gorgeous setting sun for portraits. Usually the first look is a private moment for the bride and groom, but the wedding party found a perfect window to peek out of during the special moment. It was quite cute to see everyone so excited for the two love birds to see each other for the first time.

My favorite part of the day for Kirsty and Jeff’s wedding was watching the very intimate wedding ceremony. Since Kirsty’s family is part Scottish they had a lot of Scottish Traditions one of which was a salt covenant, it was a beautiful moment between the Bride and Groom and even for the Brides parents, since the same salt that was used for Kirsty’s parents wedding was the same salt that was used for Kirsty and Jeff’s!

The reception continued through the evening and Kirsty and Jeff danced the night away with their close friends and family.

I just want to say congratulations Kirsty and Jeff on your new life together! May God continue to bless your marriage together!
