National Day of Prayer
For the past few years I have been commissioned to capture the Lancaster National Day of Prayer main event. I look forward to this opportunity for a number of reasons, namely the wide variety of stories there are to capture throughout the evening! One story, in particular that continues to captivate me each year is the posture of hands. From the raising of hands in praise to the joining of stranger’s hands in prayer, hands of musicians playing the instruments to Anne Lotz Graham hands as she communicated her message to Lancaster County. It all seems a bit of a mystery to me.
As I consider my own hands on this day…I am thankful for the men and women who have gone before me. The work of their hands have helped shape this County. What will our hands do today to help shape the County for tomorrow?
