There are a lot of decisions that have to be made when planning a wedding. You ask yourself, “Do we want an indoor or outdoor wedding? How many people are we inviting? Do we want to see each other before the wedding for photos? Band or DJ?” There are about a million decisions to be made, and in the end each decision is just perfect for your unique wedding.

For Erica and Shane, they decided to have an outdoor wedding in Erica’s backyard, with a couple hundred of their friends and family, and a bumpin’ DJ to get the party going. They also decided to go the traditional route and not see each other before the wedding ceremony, but that didn’t mean we couldn’t do photos of them together before the ceremony. How did we do that? Well, we blindfolded Shane and captured some fun images of him and Erica together. It was really fun to see Shane squeeze Erica’s hand in anticipation of the whole day.

Although the rain came to visit before the ceremony, it left just in time for the JDK group to wipe the seats down and still have Erica walk down the aisle on time! The whole evening was such a great time and it was truly an honor photographing their special day!

Congrats Erica and Shane on your new life together!
