One month ago today, I had the honor of capturing a very special day for both Laura and Florian. They officially tied the knot June 11th, 2011! It was such a special wedding for all attending because Laura put a lot of personally touches to the wedding. Not only did she have a gorgeous live music recital for her guests before the ceremony, but she also wrote and performed an original piece after she said her vows. It was so gorgeous that it had me in tears!

Since Florian is from Germany, Laura incorporated some German traditions as well. One of which is sawing a log together that is blocking the pathway to the reception. This tradition symbolizes the Bride and Groom’s first obstacle that they must work through together through. I personally loved the meaning behind that certain tradition, Working together by giving and taking!
