8yrs ago my wife and I were married at Pheasant Run. When I drove in the lane on a rainy wedding day this September, my mind raced back to my wedding day. There were many emotions for me as I stepped out to capture Allie and Tyler’s wedding day. 8 years back I planned for sunny weather and outdoor ceremony…Allie prayed for the same. It rained.

The tent was set, the rain was the orchestra, and day unfolded. Allie’s attention to detail was inspiring. My favorite part about the wedding day was the commitment of Allie and Tyler to make it a great day. They never settled throughout the day…they ran in the rain, they danced with the clouds, and they were blessed with a sunset that lit up the sky like the promised hope for the future.

May the joy of the dance through life’s rainy days remind you that you have one another…together. May the Lord bless you and keep you and shine like the sunset on you as you look toward the future!
